Join the National MS Society and walk to create a world free of MS at The Dawes Arboretum on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Enjoy one of the premier public gardens in North America by strolling the beautiful grounds, lush gardens and lakeside views. With your help, we can ensure that people with MS have what they need to keep moving forward, and bring an end to MS!
The Ohio Buckeye Chapter could not host 12 Walk sites without the support from dedicated volunteers in the community. If you would like to join the planning committee, please email rebecca.bailey@nmssoha.org. You can Join the Movement and help us move closer to a world free of MS!
Directions:
The Dawes Arboretum is located 35 miles east of Columbus, Ohio, four miles north of Interstate 70 and six miles south of downtown Newark. From Columbus
- Take I-70 E
- Take exit 132 for OH-13 toward Newark/Thornville
- Turn left at OH-13
From Zanesville
- Head north on OH-146/OH-60/Underwood St/US-22/US-40 toward US-22/US-40
- Continue to follow OH-146/OH-60/Underwood St
- Turn left to merge onto I-70 W
- Take exit 132 for OH-13 toward Newark/Thornville
- Turn right at OH-13
From Newark
- Head west on W Locust St/OH-13 toward Elmwood Ave
- Turn left at OH-13
