Route Options: You may choose between the short route that is approximately 2-miles long or the long route that is approximately 4-miles long. Both are in the Fairgrounds and are fully accessible.

Join the National MS Society and walk to create a world free of MS at the Canfield Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Walkers will walk along the grounds of the famous Canfield Fairgrounds, home of the world renowned Canfield Fair. With your help, we can ensure that people with MS have what they need to keep moving forward, and bring an end to MS!
The Ohio Buckeye Chapter could not host 12 Walk sites without the support from dedicated volunteers in the community. If you would like to join the planning committee, please email rebecca.bailey@nmssoha.org. You can Join the Movement and help us move closer to a world free of MS!
Directions:
From the East
- Take US Route 224 West
- Make a left at the traffic light onto Fairground Boulevard
- Continue on Fairground Boulevard to State Route 46
- Make a left onto State Route 46 and a left into Gate 5 of the Canfield Fairgrounds (across the street from the Ohio State Highway Patrol)
From the West
- Take US Route 224 East
- Continue on US Route 224 to State Route 46
- Make a right onto State Route 46
- Continue on State Route 46
- Make a left into Gate 5 of the Canfield Fairgrounds (across the street from the Ohio State Highway Patrol)
From the North
- Take State Route 11 South
- Exit at US Route 224
- Continue straight through the traffic light at the exit to Fairground Boulevard
- Continue on Fairground Boulevard to State Route 46
- Make a left onto State Route 46 and a left into Gate 5 of the Canfield Fairgrounds (across the street from the Ohio State Highway Patrol)
From the South
- Take State Route 11 North
- Exit at US Route 224
- Make a left off of the exit onto US Route 224
- At the first light make a right onto Fairground Boulevard
- Continue on Fairground Boulevard to State Route 46
- Make a left onto State Route 46 and a left into Gate 5 of the Canfield Fairgrounds (across the street from the Ohio State Highway Patrol)
Parking: Parking will be provided free of charge to all Walk MS volunteers and participants. We suggest that all volunteers and participants begin to park in the grass lots to the left of Gate #5 off of Ziegler Drive. As those lots fill, there will be additional parking in the lots to the east of the racetrack. Accessible parking will be held in the concourse to the west of the grandstand. Four-passenger seat golf cars will shuttle volunteers and participants from the lots to the Government Building. |
