As you can see from the thermometer on the right, we have not yet reached our fundraising goal for Walk MS Columbus. If each person who participated raised an additional $20.75 the goal would be achieved. Early Walker Check In Information:
Saturday, April 4 from 9am to 1pm at Panera Bread, 875 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43214 Monday, April 6 through Thursday, April 9 from 7am to 7pm at the Ohio Buckeye Chapter Office, 651G Lakeview Plaza Blvd., Worthington, OH 43085
Please be sure to bring your contribution envelope with at least $25 enclosed or already turned in. You must turn in at least $125 to receive your Walk MS t-shirt.
Day of the Walk Information:
Check in begins at 7:30 a.m.
Route: The route is approximately 2-mileslong and travels through the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. The route is fully accessible.
Note: Because Walk MS: Columbus is taking place at the Columbus Zoo, walkers will not be permitted to bring their dog to the event.
Please note the following contribution minimums for participants at the Columbus Walk MS site:

Children 2 and under - no pledge minimum -
Children between 3 and 12 - $10 pledge minimum -
Children 13 and over and Adults - $25 pledge minimum

Join the National MS Society and walk to create a world free of MS at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium on Saturday, April 18, 2009. All Walk participants will be able to explore the zoo exhibits upon completion.With your help, we can ensure that people with MS have what they need to keep moving forward, and bring an end to MS!
The Ohio Buckeye Chapter could not host 12 Walk sites without the support from dedicated volunteers in the community. If you would like to join the planning committee, please email rebecca.bailey@nmssoha.org. You can Join the Movement and help us move closer to a world free of MS!
Directions: From east of Columbus
- Take Interstate 70 West to 270 North
- Follow 270 North to Sawmill Road (Exit 20)
- Go North (or right) to Hard Road
- Turn left onto Hard Road. Hard Road dead-ends into Riverside Drive
- Turn right onto Riverside Drive. The Zoo entrance is 2 miles North on the right
From west of Columbus
- Take Interstate 70 East to 270 North
- Follow 270 North to Sawmill Road (Exit 20) and go North (or left) on Sawmill Road to Hard Road
- Turn left onto Hard Road. Hard Road dead-ends into Riverside Drive
- Turn right onto Riverside Drive. The Zoo entrance is 2 miles North on the right
From south of Columbus
- Take Interstate 71 North to 270 West
- Follow 270 West to Sawmill Road (Exit 20) and go north to Hard Road
- Turn left onto Hard Road. Hard Road dead-ends into Riverside Drive
- Turn right onto Riverside Drive. The Zoo entrance is 2 miles North on the right
From north of Columbus
- Take Interstate 71 South to 270 West
- Follow 270 West to Sawmill Road (Exit 20) and go north (or right) to Hard Road
